In 2023, Bricklane partnered with Regular Practice and Sonder & Tell to develop a brand identity reflective of how the business had evolved. The new identity and graphic design needed to encapsulate the company's commitment to improving the residential property market for renters, environmentally upgrading homes, and its transition from D2C to B2B.
Through a combination of research, workshops and working sessions, we developed design directions, drawing inspiration from in and out of category inspiration, ensuring that we were aligned on how Bricklane wanted to show up. We developed a new brand book - including a logo, monogram, typographic style, colour palette, merchandise and full suite of brand templates. Alongside, we produced tone of voice guidelines, website wireframes and website creative lines.
We also commissioned photography to bring the new brand to life. Framed around the concept of everyday warmth, we worked with Tiny studios to produce a series of short videos that illustrated what living in a Bricklane home is like. Our art direction made all the spaces feel warm, welcoming and lived in - showing Bricklane residents enjoying living in modern homes that they can make their own.
The new identity is warm, straightforward and modern, demonstrating Bricklane's commitment to revolutionising the residential rental market through active, responsible investment. You'll find the full website and rebrand at bricklane.com
